Privacy Policy

RESPECT:

  • We respect your privacy & confidentality
  • Will not share who our clients are unless you specifically give permission.
  • We won’t sell your details to anyone
  • We don’t like spam so won’t send you anything that’s not relevant to the services we offer or how you can take better advantage of it
  • All our emails and your subscription will be easy to unsubscribe.

SHARING STATS & STORIES:

  • We generate interest from other people to buy our services by sharing stories.  We will refer to your wins by using your initials.
  • If you have any specific wins that you want to share with the world, we would love to know about them so that we can share them with the world!  You can authorise us to use your full name or initials when doing so.
  • We collect data about client wins and share them in a non-identifiable way.  For example - “15 bank accounts have saved $150,000 in 1 year”.  Your data may be included in that where you answer questions or surveys as a participant of our programs.
  • Anything we see as a part of Q&A calls, questions from you, etc, will be kept confidential unless you wish to share to the wider group

USING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION:

  • We will collect your full name, phone number, email address and year of birth, when you sign up to our Contact Us page, or any of our free downloads.  This will be used to contact you when wanting to work with us and to send promotional material such as emails to keep you informed of other programs and services that may be of use to you.
  • There may be emails related directly to your services such as invoices, terms and conditions, and reminders of calls you have signed up to.

AS A CLIENT:

  • As a member of our programs and using the Xero subscription, we will have access to your banking, income and spending data, as well as anything that you save in the Xero platform.  This platform is a secure platform requiring 2 factor authentication and access to your data is only available to the users who have access to your file, which you can monitor from settings within your login.
  • The platforms we use for training and providing services are internet based.  Nothing is ever completely secure on the internet but we use as much security as possible to avoid others from obtaining your information.
  • We will not disclose your personal information to anyone who does not have access to your Xero file.  (We will not invite anyone without your permission, we will not log in to your xero account with anyone else watching, for example on training calls or videos loaded to FAQ library).
  • We will store your personal information in our client database (Xero) and (EMAIL PROGRAM) that is managed with secure Multi-factor authentication.  This data is stored in Australia using AWS Amazon web service.

BREACH OF PRIVACY:

Under the Notifiable Data Breach (NDB) scheme an organisation or agency must notify affected individuals and the OAIC about an eligible data breach.

An eligible data breach occurs when:

  • there is unauthorised access to or unauthorised disclosure of personal information, or a loss of personal information, that an organisation or agency holds
  • this is likely to result in serious harm to one or more individuals, and
    the organisation or agency hasn’t been able to prevent the likely risk of serious harm with remedial action.
  • an organisation or agency that suspects an eligible data breach may have occurred must quickly assess the incident to determine if it is likely to result in serious harm to any individual.

We will contact you as soon as issues are known and will respond as per the requirements under the oaic.gov.au

 

TRACKING:

  • Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to your website or other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to your users based on their visit to your sites and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • Users may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Ads Settings.

WHO HAS ACCESS TO YOUR DATA:

  • Using Xero to manage your personal finances means that your personal information is available to Jodi Porteous under her login.  This means she can see: bank account numbers, bank transactions, how you have coded your transactions, reports and summaries of this information.  However, Jodi has other things to do and will not log into your xero file without your invitation to do so, for troubleshooting or advice
  • Businesses (and their employees) who will have access to your information:  Northwest Accountancy Pty Ltd holds the subscription for your xero file with Xero Australia Pty Limited.  Intentional Money Management Pty Ltd is the provider of your training and membership resources.  The predominant person who has access to both of these is Jodi Porteous - the Director of both businesses.
  • Intentional Money Management Pty Ltd ABN 47 650 768 648 is the owner of the business name and trademark & associated resources of Where Did My Money Go
  • Your xero subscription is held by Northwest Accountancy Pty Ltd ABN 38 080 937 140.  Northwest Accountancy Pty Ltd has staff in Australia and the Philippines.  Most staff will not have access to your file or personal details.  All staff are well versed in our privacy and confidentiality policies that means your personal details are safe with us.
  • The Xero subscription cannot be transferred directly to you without upgrading the price to the Ignite plan where you will be responsible for your own payments to Xero ($35pm at July 2024)
