Where did my money go?

It can be quite confrontational when we first look at this. So I want to say that it’s completely normal to feel scared, ashamed or embarrassed that you had no clue that it’s where your money is going.

You might have just realised that Netflix was something the household paid for (you thought it was free).
You might have just realised how much your rent costs as an annual figure (weekly amounts feels heaps cheaper).
You might have just realised that you spend a lot more on beauty and Haircare than you thought you were – it all adds up.

But here’s the thing. If it brings you joy, if it makes your life easier, if it saves you time, it’s probably worth investing in.

What’s not worth spending? The things that don’t make it easier, save you time or make your future better.
For example, if you are paying your gym membership fee but never attending the gym, is this still worth paying?
If you pay for TV subscriptions but you never watch anything on them, is it still worth paying for?

You can probably find enough “excess spending” to cut out that you will still be able to do all the things you love to do AND save some money too.

Let’s have a deep dive into where your money does actually go, so that you can see what needs redirecting and what can stay.
